How It All Started…

A love of food has been a core belief in Chef Amanda’s life for as long as she can remember. From aunts managing restaurants to her mother working on a hot line most of her life, Amanda has learned a fair amount about the restaurant industry. As with most new hires, she started as a dishwasher at age 15 and since then has worked her way from prep cook to line cook to executive chef of a well-loved catering company to finally owning her own personal chef business. Chef Amanda has a passion to bring the joy of a delicious meal to your home.

Chef Amanda has over a decade of experience working in kitchens up and down the west coast before she decided to get more formal training . After culinary school she ran a catering company where she learned how to curate stress-free events. Since then she has found a passion in creating healthy nutrient-dense monthly meal preparation and high end dinners for special events.

Chef Amanda is Serv-Safe certified and a member of both the United States Personal Chef Association and the American Culinary Federation. She has won two Nevada State Culinary Competitions and placed in the top five in two National Competitions.

Cooking is an observation-based process that you can’t do if you’re so completely focused on a recipe.
